MOM IS GETTING A NEWSTART FOLLOWING A CHALLENGING SITUATION.  FAMILY LIVES IN A VERY SMALL TRAILER. . THE SIZE OF A TWO CAR GARAGE.  BUT THEY ARETOGETHER. . THEY HAVE A ROOF OVER THEIR HEADS.  THEY HAVE A PLACE TO CALL THEIR OWN.  BUT ITS COLD.  ALL 5 ARE SLEEPING IN ONE BED TO KEEP WARM.  THEY NEED CARPET ON THE FLOORS, BLANKETS, AN ELECTRICAL HEATER. 

THE FAMILY NEEDS JACKETS AND SHOES.   A SWING SET FOR THE KIDS TO PLAY ON OUTSIDE, SHELVES AND SKIRTING AROUND THE TRAILER.  THEY ALSO NEED A NEW WATER HEATER (AND SOMEONE TO INSTALL IT), CURTAINS AND RODS, AND AN AIR CONDITIONER COVER (WALL UNIT).

This year Santa's elves will be dropping in on a family of three.  Mom, a teenage daughter and a 7 month old grandbaby.  They live in a trailer and pretty much have. . nothing.  We asked santa's elves to drop in and have them write a Christmas wish list. . here's what they listed. . if you'll notice, there is not a mention of a christmas tree, decoration or presents.  They only want everday basis necessities.   They have no idea what we are doing, but sometime next week, we will be breaking into thier home and leaving some holiday cheer.  Nobody takes credit and they will have no idea where the gifts came from.  Here is what they need:

--The floors need major work. .it's just plywood.  They need linoleum or carpet and someone to help install it.

Donations can be droped off at the Power 102 studios at 4045 North Mesa during regular business hours or at collection sites to be announced on Power 102.   

Thursday Morning we will be at Cohen Stadium in Northeast El Paso
Friday morning we will be at Shamaley Ford at I-10W and Lee Trevino
